Psalm 91:5 to 6 describes four categories of threat that God’s people face: the terror of night, the arrow that flies by day, the pestilence that stalks in darkness and the plague that destroys at midday. Four different times of day. Four different modes of attack. And the promise of God covers every one of them. No hour of the day is outside the scope of divine protection and no category of evil is outside the reach of God’s covenant covering.
But the text also reveals something about the strategic timing of the enemy. He does not operate only at one predictable hour. He works in the night when you are sleeping and unaware. He sends arrows during the day when you are busy and distracted. He stalks in darkness and he destroys at midday. He is strategic. He is persistent. And he is far more organised in his attacks against your day than most believers are in their morning prayers against those attacks.
Matthew 13:25 is the clearest biblical description of the enemy’s morning strategy: while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat. The sowing happened during the night. The effects were not visible until the crop began to grow. This is exactly how witchcraft and demonic assignment operate against many believers. The attack is prepared in the night. The effects begin to manifest during the day: the unexpected argument, the inexplicable setback, the sudden sickness, the strange accident, the contract that falls through without explanation, the favour that was there yesterday and is gone today.
Luke 10:19 is the authority declaration that every believer needs to exercise before they face the day: I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. All the power. Not most of the power. All. Morning prayer against evil and witchcraft is the daily exercise of that authority. You are not asking God to protect you from something He has already given you authority over. | HOW TO USE THESE MORNING FIRE PRAYERS Pray these 30 prayer points every morning before you leave your home. They are most powerful when prayed before 7am, before the day’s activities begin and before the enemy’s assignments have had time to execute. Pray them aloud with bold authority. These are not timid requests. They are warfare declarations made by someone who understands the authority they have been given by Jesus Christ. | ADMONITION BEFORE YOU PRAY: Job 38:12 to 13 contains one of the most strategically significant prayer insights in all of Scripture. God asks Job: have you ever given orders to the morning, or shown the dawn its place, that it might take the earth by the edges and shake the wicked out of it? God is describing the morning as a spiritual shaking mechanism that dislodges the wicked and their plans from the earth. When you pray aggressively in the morning, you are cooperating with the divine design of the morning as a time of spiritual shaking that exposes and dislodges evil that was concealed during the night. Matthew 13:25 confirms that the enemy sows his assignments while people sleep. But the morning is designed by God to shake out what the enemy planted in the night. Your morning prayer is that divine shaking. You are commanding the morning to shake the enemy’s overnight assignments out of your day before those assignments have the opportunity to germinate. |
Prayer Points 1 to 6
1. Father, I command this morning to shake out every evil assignment that the enemy planted in the night over my life, my family and my day! According to Job 38:12 to 13, the morning is designed to shake the wicked out. Let it do so right now. Every plan of darkness planted while I slept is exposed and destroyed by the light of this morning, in Jesus’ name!
2. I cancel every satanic meeting that was held against me overnight! Every demonic council that gathered to plan my destruction, every witchcraft coven that operated against my life while I slept and every evil altar that was used to direct assignments against me in the night, I destroy their work by the blood of Jesus right now, in Jesus’ name!
3. I uproot by fire every evil seed that the enemy planted in my day while I was sleeping! Every plan he sowed against my health, my finances, my relationships and my career in the night season is uprooted before it can germinate. According to Matthew 13:25, the enemy sowed while people slept. But I am awake now and I am pulling up everything he planted, in Jesus’ name!
4. I cancel every evil word spoken against me last night! Every witchcraft prayer, every curse uttered in darkness, every evil decree released over my life and my household in the night hours, I declare null and void by the blood of Jesus. No word formed against me in the night shall manifest in my day, in Jesus’ name!
5. Father, let the terror of the night that Psalm 91:5 describes have no power over me! I will not fear the terror of night because the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps was watching over me while I slept. Everything that the enemy attempted during my sleep was monitored by God and I receive His morning report: you are covered, in Jesus’ name!
6. I declare: the arrow that flies by day shall not hit me according to Psalm 91:5! Every sudden attack, every unexpected disaster and every carefully aimed satanic arrow that the enemy prepared in the night to release during the day, I decree that it shall not find its mark. God is my shield and every arrow aimed at me today shall be deflected, in Jesus’ name!

| ADMONITION BEFORE YOU PRAY: Numbers 23:23 contains one of the most powerful anti-witchcraft declarations in all of Scripture: there is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel. For believers who are in Christ, the same protection applies. Galatians 3:13 establishes the legal basis: Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us. Every curse requires a legal ground to land. The cross of Jesus Christ stripped away every legal ground that the enemy could use to establish a curse over a believer’s life. When you plead the blood of Jesus and declare your redemption from every curse in the morning, you are not creating a new protection. You are enforcing a legal reality that the cross already established. Isaiah 8:9 to 10 adds the prophetic declaration: devise your strategy but it will be thwarted; propose your plan but it will not stand, for God is with us. |
Prayer Points 7 to 12
7. I declare over my life this morning: there is no divination against me, no evil omen against me according to Numbers 23:23! Christ redeemed me from every curse (Galatians 3:13) and no witchcraft prayer, no voodoo operation and no dark spiritual technology has legal access to my life today. The cross has cancelled every claim, in Jesus’ name!
8. I break every witchcraft curse released against me and my household right now! Every evil word spoken by a witch, a sorcerer, an occult practitioner or a household enemy against my life, my health, my finances, my marriage or my destiny, I break it by the blood of Jesus and I send it back to its source, in Jesus’ name!
9. I destroy every witchcraft altar erected against me! Every evil altar in any location that carries my name, my photograph, my clothing or any representation of me for the purpose of spiritual manipulation, I bring the fire of God upon that altar right now. Let it burn to ashes and let its power over my life be permanently destroyed, in Jesus’ name!
10. Father, let every witchcraft plan for my day be exposed and embarrassed! Isaiah 8:9 to 10 says: devise your strategy but it will be thwarted; propose your plan but it will not stand, for God is with us. Let every enemy strategy against me today be thwarted before it executes. Let them propose and let God veto, in Jesus’ name!
11. I break every evil eye and every evil tongue operating against my progress! Every person who looks at me with jealousy and channels that jealousy into witchcraft prayers against me, every tongue that speaks curses over my life in secret, I break their power by the blood of Jesus and I declare that their operations are ineffective against me, in Jesus’ name!
12. I declare: greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)! The witchcraft power operating in the world is real but it is smaller than the Holy Spirit who lives in me. No dark power, no matter how organised, how persistent or how long-standing its assignment, is greater than the power of God in me, in Jesus’ name!

| ADMONITION BEFORE YOU PRAY: Zechariah 2:5 contains one of the most visually powerful divine protection images in all of Scripture: I myself will be a wall of fire around it, declares the Lord, and I will be its glory within. A wall of fire. Not a fence. Not a boundary marker. A wall of fire that is impassable, impenetrable and self-sustaining because its source is God Himself. When you pray for your home and your household every morning, you are not hoping that God will assign some reluctant protection to your dwelling. You are calling on a God who has declared Himself to be a wall of fire around those who belong to Him. Exodus 12:13 adds the specific mechanism: the blood shall be a sign for you on the houses where you are and when I see the blood I will pass over you. The blood covering and the fire wall operate together: the blood marks the home as covered and the fire wall prevents any evil from approaching what the blood has marked. |
Prayer Points 13 to 18
13. I plead the blood of Jesus over my home right now! Let the blood mark every door, every window and every entrance of my house. When the enemy looks at my home today, let him see the blood and be unable to enter. No evil shall befall me and no plague shall come near my dwelling according to Psalm 91:10, in Jesus’ name!
14. Father, be a wall of fire around my household today according to Zechariah 2:5! Let Your fire surround every person in my home, every vehicle we drive and every place we go. Let that fire be visible in the spirit realm so that every demonic assignment approaching my family sees the fire and turns back, in Jesus’ name!
15. I cancel every evil that was programmed into my day through the environment I live in. Every neighbourhood witchcraft, every community spirit of death and poverty and every territorial demon operating in my area, I revoke your access to my household. My home is a blood-covered, fire-walled sanctuary of God, in Jesus’ name!
16. I pray specifically over my children today. Let no evil follow them to school, let no dangerous person approach them and let no demonic assignment reach them through their friends, their teachers or their environment. They are covered by the blood of Jesus from departure to return, in Jesus’ name!
17. I pray over my spouse today. Let no witchcraft attack reach them at work, in transit or in any interaction they have today. Cover their mind against every spirit of deception, cover their body against every spirit of sickness and cover their spirit against every attack of the enemy, in Jesus’ name!
18. I command the angels of God to encamp around my home, my family and every member of my household right now according to Psalm 34:7! Let them be fully active, fully armed and fully alert against every assignment of darkness directed at anyone connected to my household today, in Jesus’ name!

| ADMONITION BEFORE YOU PRAY: Isaiah 54:17 is one of the most comprehensive anti-satanic declarations in the entire Bible: no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. Heritage means it is already yours. You do not earn it. You do not work for it. It is yours by covenant, by birthright in Christ. The weapons will be formed. Isaiah 54:17 does not promise you will live in a world where the enemy never tries. It promises that when he tries, he will not succeed. Every weapon fails. Every tongue is condemned. Every plan is thwarted. This is not wishful thinking. It is covenant language. God is stating a legal reality about the ultimate outcome of every satanic attack against His people. |
Prayer Points 19 to 24
19. I declare over my career today: no weapon formed against my position, my reputation and my professional advancement shall prosper according to Isaiah 54:17! Every plot against my job, every conspiracy to remove me and every plan to replace me with someone less qualified, I cancel them all by fire. My career is under divine protection, in Jesus’ name!
20. I cancel every satanic plan to destroy my finances today! Every spirit of financial failure, every demonic assignment to block my income, every witchcraft prayer against my business and every evil plan to make me lose what I have worked for, I destroy them all right now by the blood of Jesus, in Jesus’ name!
21. Father, let no weapon formed against my destiny prosper today! Every plan of the enemy to delay my breakthrough, to redirect my path away from Your purpose and to cause me to miss divine appointments, I cancel every such plan. My destiny is ordered by God and the enemy cannot reroute what God has mapped, in Jesus’ name!
22. I pray against every spirit of sudden loss and unexpected catastrophe prepared for my day. Every accident waiting to happen, every financial collapse prepared for today and every relationship destruction being planned, I dismantle every one of them before they execute, in the mighty name of Jesus!
23. Father, let every satanic investment against my life come to nothing! Every sacrifice made on a demonic altar for my destruction, every blood covenant made against my progress and every evil spiritual transaction conducted on my behalf without my consent, I nullify them all by the superior blood of Jesus Christ, in Jesus’ name!
24. I declare: God works all things together for my good (Romans 8:28)! Even the attacks of the enemy cannot change this. God takes the enemy’s weapon and makes it work for my benefit. What the enemy designed for my destruction, God uses for my promotion. Every satanic plot against me becomes a platform for my testimony, in Jesus’ name!

| ADMONITION BEFORE YOU PRAY: Colossians 2:15 records what happened to every principality and power at the cross: having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. The disarmament is past tense. It is done. Complete. The enemy did not lose a battle at the cross. He lost his weapons. He lost his legal standing. He lost his authority over the lives of those who are in Christ. He has not recovered those weapons. He never will. What he operates with now is bluff, deception and the exploitation of believers who do not know what the cross accomplished. Revelation 12:11 reveals the two weapons that completely overpower whatever bluff the enemy is running: the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony. The blood that disarmed him at the cross and the testimony of believers who declare what that blood has done. |
Prayer Points 25 to 30
25. I overcome the enemy today by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of my testimony according to Revelation 12:11! The blood of Jesus is my weapon. My testimony of what that blood has done in my life is my declaration. Together they constitute an undefeatable spiritual arsenal that no assignment of darkness can withstand, in Jesus’ name!
26. I bind every evil spirit assigned to my day right now according to Matthew 16:19! Whatever I bind on earth is bound in heaven. I bind the spirit of accident over my path today. I bind the spirit of failure over my work today. I bind the spirit of strife over my relationships today. They are bound and they cannot operate, in Jesus’ name!
27. I loose the power of God into every dimension of my day! I loose divine protection over my path. I loose divine favour over my interactions. I loose divine wisdom over my decisions. I loose divine health over my body. And I loose divine success over every effort of this day, in Jesus’ name!
28. I exercise my authority over all the power of the enemy today according to Luke 10:19! Nothing shall by any means hurt me today. Not witchcraft. Not accidents. Not sickness. Not sudden loss. Not unexpected attack. The authority of Jesus Christ covers me completely and the enemy cannot penetrate what divine authority is protecting, in Jesus’ name!
29. Father, let every demonic agent that was dispatched against my day find its assignment cancelled before it reaches me! Let angels meet them and turn them back. Let the fire wall around my life be so intense that no satanic messenger can penetrate it and deliver its evil payload against my day, in Jesus’ name!
30. I seal my day with the blood of Jesus Christ! From the first minute of this morning to the last minute of tonight, I am under the blood. Covered. Protected. Secured. Empowered. And the enemy who looks at my day sees the blood first and is told by that blood: this day belongs to God. Touch it and you touch the One whose blood it carries. I go into this day secured. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!

| How do I know if I am under a witchcraft attack? Several patterns can indicate spiritual attack through witchcraft: sudden, unexplained reversal of progress that was previously advancing well; recurring dreams of specific people, animals or environments that leave spiritual heaviness; persistent patterns of bad luck, accident or misfortune that cluster around specific seasons or events; physical symptoms that medical professionals cannot explain or that respond immediately to anointing and prayer; and a sense of spiritual heaviness, oppression or distance from God that coincides with increased contact with a specific person or environment. None of these indicators alone is conclusive. Discernment, prayer and pastoral counsel are all important in identifying genuine spiritual attack versus natural difficulty. Is it biblical to pray against specific people who are attacking you with witchcraft? The biblical approach is to pray against the spiritual operations and the demonic powers being used, not to pray against the person themselves. Ephesians 6:12 is clear: our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the spiritual forces of evil. The person engaging in witchcraft is both an agent of the enemy and a potential target for the gospel. Jesus instructs in Matthew 5:44 to pray for those who persecute you. You can simultaneously cancel the spiritual operation being directed against you and pray for the salvation of the person directing it. Do I need to pray these warfare prayers every morning even when things are going well? Yes. The pattern of Ephesians 6:10 to 18 is to put on the full armour of God before the battle, not after the attack has landed. Daily morning warfare prayer is preventive, not reactive. Job 1:5 records that Job offered sacrifices for his children regularly, not only when they were in trouble. The hedge that resulted from that consistent practice was strong enough that Satan himself acknowledged he could not penetrate it. A hedge built by consistent morning prayer is far stronger than one built reactively in crisis. I have been praying against witchcraft for a long time but the attacks seem to continue. What should I do? Persistent spiritual attack despite consistent prayer calls for several responses. First, examine whether there is an open door: unconfessed sin, ungodly relationships, occult objects in the home or unbroken generational covenants can give the enemy legal access that prayer alone does not close. Close every identified door through repentance, renunciation and the blood of Jesus. Second, add fasting: some levels of spiritual resistance only yield to prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21). Third, seek pastoral support: some spiritual battles are best fought in community rather than alone. Is there a difference between spiritual warfare and witchcraft? Witchcraft in its biblical definition is any attempt to control people, circumstances or outcomes through supernatural means outside of God. Galatians 5:20 lists witchcraft as a work of the flesh. Christians can unintentionally engage in witchcraft-adjacent practices through manipulation, the use of occult tools like horoscopes or tarot for guidance, participation in cultural rituals that have demonic roots, or speaking cursing words over people rather than blessing. Deuteronomy 18:10 to 12 gives a clear list of practices God forbids. The safeguard is a daily renewed commitment to seeking God alone for guidance, to speaking blessing rather than cursing and to filling every spiritual space with the Word and the Spirit of God. |
You Are Not a Victim. You Are a Weapon.
Jeremiah 51:20 records one of the most startling descriptions God ever used for His people: you are My war club, My weapon for battle. With you I shatter nations. The image God uses for His people in the context of spiritual conflict is not a cowering victim hiding from the enemy. It is a weapon in His hand. You are not the target. You are the instrument. The enemy attacks you not because you are weak but because you are a threat. Every believer who understands their authority in Christ and exercises it consistently is a direct threat to the enemy’s kingdom. He attacks not to destroy you but to silence you.
These morning warfare prayers are not the prayers of someone who is afraid of what the day holds. They are the prayers of someone who knows what authority they hold. Luke 10:19 did not give you authority over some of the enemy’s power. All of the enemy’s power. Not authority that might work if the conditions are right. Authority that nothing shall by any means override. Exercise it every morning. Exercise it with confidence. Exercise it as someone who has read the end of the book and knows that the enemy loses.
Go into your day today as God’s war club in His hand. Not afraid of the weapons the enemy has formed. Not intimidated by the plans he devised in the night. Not overwhelmed by the scale of the opposition. Walk out of your door this morning as someone who just spent thirty prayer points dismantling every assignment of darkness before it had a chance to touch your day. Because that is exactly what happened.
