What You Carry Into Next Month
The month is almost over, and it’s tempting to close it out quickly, tally the wins and losses, and move on without really looking at it. But something happened in you over these thirty days, whether you noticed it or not.
“As for you, the anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit, just as it has taught you, remain in him.” – 1 John 2:27 (NIV)
The One Point:
This verse wasn’t written to people who had everything figured out. It was written to people navigating confusion, false teaching, uncertainty about what to believe. And still, John reminds them that what God has placed in them remains, it doesn’t reset or disappear when the season changes. Whatever this month held for you, growth or grief, clarity or confusion, what God has been forming in you doesn’t get left behind at the calendar page. You’re not starting over next month. You’re carrying forward what’s already real in you.
Thought to Ponder:
What has God been forming in you this month that you want to carry forward, rather than leave behind with September?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for what You’ve done in me this month, seen and unseen.
Help me carry forward what is real, not just what looks like progress.
Remain in me as I remain in You. Amen.
Today’s Declaration:
“What God has placed in me this month remains. I carry it forward.”

Write down one specific thing God taught you or grew in you this month, and put it somewhere you’ll see it at the start of next month.
