God Isn’t Finished With You

You look at where you are right now and it feels like proof that you’ve stalled. The habit you haven’t broken. The dream you haven’t reached. The version of yourself you thought you’d be by now, still somewhere out ahead, unreached.
It’s tempting to read your current chapter as the final verdict.
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 1:6 (NIV)
The One Point:
Paul isn’t describing a finished product when he writes this, he’s writing to people still very much in process, still struggling, still growing. The confidence in this verse isn’t based on how far they’d already come. It’s based on who started the work and who’s still carrying it. Where you are today isn’t the ending, it’s a page in the middle of something God is still actively writing. Unfinished isn’t the same as abandoned. It means the work is still underway, and the One doing it hasn’t walked away from it.
Thought to Ponder:
What part of your life have you quietly assumed God has given up on, simply because it isn’t finished yet?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for not giving up on the work You started in me.
Where I feel stalled, remind me I’m still in process.
Keep doing what only You can complete. Amen.
Today’s Declaration:
“I am not finished, because God is not finished with me.”
Today’s Step:
Write down one area of your life you’ve been calling a failure, and beside it write, “still in progress,” as a truer description of where it actually stands.
