There is a class of demonic spirits whose primary assignment is not possession, sickness or financial destruction. Their assignment is observation. They are sent to watch, to gather intelligence, to report your movements, your plans, your relationships and your progress back to the kingdom of darkness so that targeted attacks can be launched against you at your most vulnerable moments. They are monitoring spirits. And they are more active in the lives of \advancing believers than most Christians have been taught to recognise.

Psalm 37:32 says the wicked lie in wait for the righteous, intent on putting them to death. The phrase lie in wait is a surveillance term. It describes someone who positions themselves strategically to observe without being observed. The wicked are not randomly attacking the righteous. They are watching first. They are studying patterns. They are identifying weaknesses. They are looking for the most effective point of entry. And then they move. The monitoring spirit is the advance unit of the enemy’s military strategy against your life.

The assignment of monitoring spirits operates on multiple levels simultaneously. In the spiritual realm, they observe your prayer life, your anointing, your spiritual movements and the prophetic dimensions of your destiny so that they can organise the appropriate level of demonic resistance. In the natural realm, they work through human agents, through familiar people, through places you frequent and through the networks around your life, gathering the kind of practical intelligence that makes their attacks precise rather than random. A monitoring spirit does not make the enemy more powerful. It makes him more targeted.

Today being Day 1 of the Mercy Again September 2026 Three-Day Prayer Programme, we are not beginning gently. We are beginning with fire. Before you can deal with what is watching you, you must first understand what it is, how it operates and what gives it access to your life. This teaching will expose the monitoring spirit completely. And once it is fully exposed, we will destroy it with 70 of the most dangerous warfare prayers in this prayer network’s history. September 2026 belongs to you. But first, you must deal with what has been watching you.

What Is a Monitoring Spirit? The Spiritual Reality Explained

A monitoring spirit is a demonic agent assigned to gather intelligence on a specific person, family, ministry, business or community. Its primary function is not destruction but intelligence gathering. It watches, reports and coordinates. It is the spiritual equivalent of a surveillance operative deployed ahead of a military strike. Before the enemy sends the spirit of sickness, poverty, accident or death, the monitoring spirit has already filed its report on the most effective entry point.

The biblical basis for the reality of monitoring spirits is established throughout Scripture. In Job 1:7, God asked Satan where he had come from and Satan replied: from roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it. Satan was not on a pleasure tour. He was on a surveillance mission. He was gathering intelligence on who was advancing in righteousness so that a targeted attack could be launched. And his first target was Job, the most righteous man on earth, because the monitoring had already identified him as the greatest threat to the kingdom of darkness in his generation.

In Daniel 6:4, the administrators and satraps tried to find grounds for charges against Daniel in his conduct of government affairs. The text says they could find no corruption in him because he was trustworthy and neither corrupt nor negligent. So they concluded that the only grounds they could find would have to do with the law of his God. This is the pattern of the monitoring spirit operating through human agents. They watch relentlessly. They study every dimension of your life. They look for a flaw, an inconsistency, an opening. And when they cannot find one through natural observation, they escalate to supernatural interference.

Monitoring spirits are deployed against people who are advancing. They are not wasted on stagnant, prayerless, spiritually dormant believers who pose no threat to the enemy’s agenda. The intensity of the surveillance you face is often directly proportional to the significance of what God is about to do through your life. If you have been sensing that you are being watched in the spirit, that your plans keep being leaked before they materialise, that opposition shows up at the most strategic moments and that certain people seem to know things about your private life that you never shared, you are likely under spiritual surveillance. And today we address that.

How Monitoring Spirits Operate: Their Methods and Mechanisms

Monitoring spirits operate through a combination of spiritual and natural methods. In the spirit realm, they attach themselves to your spiritual atmosphere through unconfessed sin, open doors of the occult, evil covenants and generational attachments. They observe your prayer sessions to identify when you are spiritually strong and when you are spiritually depleted. They study your worship patterns to identify the moments when you are most vulnerable to spiritual attack. They monitor your dreams to plant seeds of confusion, fear and discouragement at the subconscious level.

In the natural realm, monitoring spirits work through people. They do not always work through obvious enemies. They frequently work through familiar people, relatives, colleagues, neighbours and sometimes people within the church community who are either consciously or unknowingly serving as conduits of information to the kingdom of darkness. When you notice that your plans consistently fail after you share them with a specific person, when betrayal follows intimacy with a particular individual or when your progress slows every time a specific person enters your environment, the monitoring spirit may be using that proximity.

Monitoring spirits also operate through locations. Certain environments, neighbourhoods, workplaces and even church buildings can carry a monitoring spirit assignment against specific individuals or families. They exploit the legal ground created by territorial spirits, ancestral covenants and the unbroken spiritual history of a location. They use dreams and night visions to project scenarios of your future so they can report to higher demonic authorities what is coming against which they need to prepare opposition. And they use the digital world, your public online presence, your social media activity and your public statements, as additional intelligence sources.

Signs That Your Life Is Under Spiritual Surveillance

1. Father, open my spiritual eyes today to discern every monitoring spirit that has been assigned to my life, my family and my destiny! Let me see in the spirit what the enemy has been doing in the natural. Let the veil of spiritual blindness over my perception of the enemy’s surveillance activities be removed right now, in Jesus’ name!

2. I command every monitoring spirit assigned to my life to be exposed and brought into the light of God right now! You have been operating in darkness long enough. I call you out of your hiding place by the fire of the Holy Ghost. Every spirit of darkness that has been watching me from the shadows is exposed and destroyed right now, in Jesus’ name!

3. I release the blindness of God upon every monitoring spirit assigned to my life today! Just as God blinded the Syrian army in 2 Kings 6:18, let blindness fall upon every demonic surveillance agent watching my steps, tracking my progress and reporting my movements to the kingdom of darkness, in Jesus’ name!

4. I destroy every spiritual eye that the enemy has opened against my life! Every demonic eye that has been observing my prayer life, my family movements, my financial transactions and my destiny assignments, I pluck out every such spiritual eye by fire right now, in Jesus’ name!

5. Father, let confusion fall upon every monitoring spirit watching my life the way You sent confusion into the camp of the enemies of Israel! Let their intelligence become corrupt. Let their reports become inaccurate. Let their surveillance become blind and let every plan they have built on their observation of my life collapse in total disarray, in Jesus’ name!

6. I thwart the plans of every crafty monitoring spirit over my life according to Job 5:12! Let their hands achieve no success against me. Let every scheme they have been building from their observation of my life be swept away before it can be executed. Let the intelligence they have gathered become useless data that produces no result against me, in Jesus’ name!

7. I release the fire of God upon every monitoring spirit that entered my life through open doors of sin, occult involvement or generational covenants! I close every such door now by the blood of Jesus. I renounce every legal ground that gave these spirits access to observe my life and I revoke their permission to watch me, in Jesus’ name!

8. I command every monitoring spirit that has been attached to my spiritual atmosphere to detach by fire right now! You have no further right to observe, to gather or to report on my life. The blood of Jesus cancels your assignment and the fire of the Holy Ghost destroys your surveillance post, in Jesus’ name!

9. Father, dispatch Your warring angels right now to locate and destroy every monitoring spirit that is stationed in the spiritual atmosphere over my home, my workplace, my ministry and every location I frequent! Let the angelic army of God dismantle every demonic surveillance post assigned to my life today, in Jesus’ name!

10. I declare: no monitoring spirit formed against me shall prosper according to Isaiah 54:17! The assignment is cancelled. The surveillance is terminated. The intelligence gathered is corrupted. And the monitoring spirit itself is destroyed by the fire of God. From this September 2026 forward, I move under divine cover that no monitoring spirit can penetrate, in Jesus’ name!

Prayer Points 11 to 20: Destroying the Methods of Every Monitoring Spirit

11. I destroy every organised surveillance operation that has been set up against my life by the kingdom of darkness! Every coordinated demonic team assigned to watch my professional life, my financial life, my family life and my spiritual life, I scatter every such team by fire and by the blood of Jesus today, in Jesus’ name!

12. I cancel every demonic intelligence report that has been compiled on my life and sent to higher demonic authorities! Every dossier the enemy has built on my strengths, my weaknesses, my patterns and my vulnerabilities, I burn it with the fire of God right now. Let every piece of intelligence the enemy has gathered on me become ash, in Jesus’ name!

13. I destroy every monitoring mechanism the enemy has used to track my progress! Every spiritual tag, every demonic marker, every witchcraft attachment that has been placed on my life to make me trackable in the spirit realm, I destroy every such mechanism by fire right now, in Jesus’ name!

14. I pray against every principality and power that coordinates the monitoring operation against my life according to Ephesians 6:12! I pull down every such principality from its position of authority over my life, my family and my territory. Let the ruling spirits that have been organising and directing the surveillance against me be dethroned today, in Jesus’ name!

15. I destroy every method the monitoring spirit uses to leak my plans before they materialise! Every spiritual channel through which my intentions are communicated to the enemy before they manifest in the natural, I block and burn every such channel by the fire of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus’ name!

16. I cancel every demonic night-watch assignment over my life! Every monitoring spirit that operates specifically during my sleep hours to observe my dreams, plant seeds of discouragement and gather intelligence on my subconscious movements, I destroy your assignment and I set a watch of holy angels over my sleep from tonight forward, in Jesus’ name!

17. I destroy every monitoring mechanism set up in my digital footprint! Every spiritual attachment the enemy has placed on my online presence, my communications and my public statements to use them as intelligence against my spiritual life, I sever every such attachment by the blood of Jesus right now, in Jesus’ name!

18. I pray against every method the monitoring spirit uses through territorial spirits in my neighbourhood, my city and my region! Every territorial evil spirit that feeds intelligence on my life to higher demonic powers, I challenge your assignment and I declare that the territorial authority of Christ supersedes your claim over my location, in Jesus’ name!

19. I destroy every generational monitoring assignment that has been watching my family line from generation to generation! Every ancestral spirit that has been monitoring and reporting on the patterns of my bloodline to organise generational attacks, I break your assignment off my life and off my children permanently today, in Jesus’ name!

20. Father, put a divine scrambler over my life from this September 2026 forward! Let every monitoring spirit that attempts to observe my life receive corrupted and unusable intelligence. Let the enemy never again be able to accurately track my movements, read my plans or predict my next step. Cover me with a divine shield of invisibility against every form of evil surveillance, in Jesus’ name!

Prayer Points 21 to 30: Consuming Every Monitoring Altar with Divine Fire

21. Let the fire of God fall on every evil altar that has been set up to monitor my life! Every witchcraft altar in any location that carries my name, my photograph, my clothing, my hair or any representation of me for the purpose of spiritual surveillance, let the fire of God consume it completely right now, in Jesus’ name!

22. I destroy every monitoring altar in my family compound, in my ancestral homeland and in every property connected to my bloodline! Every altar that has been gathering intelligence on my family line from generation to generation, let it be overthrown and burned by the fire of God today, in Jesus’ name!

23. I pray fire on every monitoring altar that has been constructed against me by neighbours, colleagues or community members! Every evil structure in my physical environment that has been set up to observe and report my movements to the kingdom of darkness, let it be exposed and destroyed by fire today, in Jesus’ name!

24. I destroy every witchcraft mirror, every divination bowl, every occult instrument and every dark technology being used to monitor my life! Let every such instrument melt under the fire of the Holy Ghost and let every spirit attached to it be driven out and destroyed today, in Jesus’ name!

25. I command every monitoring altar that was constructed through an evil covenant involving my name, my destiny or my bloodline to be dismantled and burned by the fire of God! Let the covenant that empowers the altar be broken by the blood of Jesus and let the altar itself be consumed by divine fire, in Jesus’ name!

26. Father, let Your fire fall on every monitoring altar the way it fell at Mount Carmel in 1 Kings 18:38! Let it consume the sacrifice, the wood, the stones, the soil and every trace of the evil structure that has been set up against me. Leave nothing standing. Leave nothing smouldering. Consume it completely, in Jesus’ name!

27. I destroy every dream-monitoring altar that has been used to infiltrate my sleep! Every evil altar through which monitoring spirits enter my dreams to gather intelligence, plant fear and project negative scenarios over my future, let it be destroyed by fire and let divine protection seal my dream life from this night forward, in Jesus’ name!

28. I overthrow every monitoring altar in the spirit realm that has been constructed at the intersection of my destiny and the enemy’s assignment! Every altar that stands between where I am and where God is taking me, marking the path and reporting my progress to demonic powers, I pull it down by the authority of Jesus Christ today, in Jesus’ name!

29. Father, send Your warring angels to locate every monitoring altar set up against me that I am not even aware of and to destroy it completely! Let the fire of God be thorough, reaching every hidden altar, every obscure surveillance point and every secret demonic post that has been watching my life, in Jesus’ name!

30. I declare: there is not a monitoring altar on the face of the earth or in the spirit realm that can survive the fire of the living God! Every altar formed against me in September 2026 is consumed. Every altar inherited from my past is overthrown. And the ground on which every monitoring altar stood is sanctified and reclaimed for the Kingdom of God. In Jesus’ name!

Prayer Points 31 to 40: Cancelling Every Evil Report and Accusation

31. I cancel every evil report that the monitoring spirit has filed against me in the courts of heaven! By the blood of Jesus Christ which speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24), I silence every accusation, I counter every charge and I nullify every evil report filed against me in the spirit realm today, in Jesus’ name!

32. Father, rebuke Satan and every monitoring spirit filing accusations against me the way You rebuked Satan in Zechariah 3:2! Let Your rebuke fall on every accusing spirit standing at my right side to condemn me. Let the Lord who has chosen me rebuke every voice of accusation rising against my life and my destiny today, in Jesus’ name!

33. Who will bring any charge against me whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies me according to Romans 8:33! Let every charge, every accusation and every evil report filed against me by the monitoring spirit be thrown out of the courts of heaven today. God has chosen me and His choice is the final verdict over my life, in Jesus’ name!

34. I apply the blood of Jesus to every evil report the monitoring spirit has compiled on my weaknesses, my failures and my past sins! The blood of Jesus does not just silence accusation. It annihilates it. Let the blood speak over every area of my life that the enemy has been using as the basis for his accusations against me, in Jesus’ name!

35. I cancel every evil verdict that was handed down in the spirit realm as a result of the monitoring spirit’s report against my life! Every demonic judgment over my career, my health, my finances, my family and my destiny that was pronounced on the basis of evil surveillance reports, I overturn every such verdict by the authority of Jesus Christ today, in Jesus’ name!

36. Father, let Christ Jesus who is at the right hand of God interceding for me counter every accusation the monitoring spirit makes against me! Let the intercession of Christ be louder, more authoritative and more legally compelling in the courts of heaven than every report the enemy files against my life, in Jesus’ name!

37. I destroy the evidence base of every evil report against me! Every file, every record, every spiritual documentation that the monitoring spirit has compiled on my life and submitted to the kingdom of darkness as the basis for targeting me, let the fire of God consume every such record completely today, in Jesus’ name!

38. I cancel every evil report that has been filed against my children in the spirit realm! Every monitoring report that has used the lives and movements of my children as intelligence for attacks against my family, I cancel every such report by the blood of Jesus and I seal my children against every monitoring spirit that would target them, in Jesus’ name!

39. I declare over every report the monitoring spirit files against me from September 2026 forward: it will not stand! God justifies me. Christ intercedes for me. The Holy Spirit seals me. And the blood of Jesus answers every accusation. The report the enemy files will be rejected by the courts of heaven every time, in Jesus’ name!

40. Father, let the testimony of Your grace over my life be louder in the spirit realm than every accusation the monitoring spirit brings! Let the record of Your mercy, Your faithfulness and Your covenant be the loudest voice in heaven concerning my life. And let that testimony silence every monitoring spirit’s report permanently. In Jesus’ name!

Prayer Points 41 to 50: Scattering Every Satanic Monitoring Network

41. I dismantle every satanic network that has been established to monitor and coordinate attacks against my life! Every organised conspiracy of demonic agents sharing intelligence, coordinating strategy and devising perfect plans against me, I scatter every such network by the fire of God right now, in Jesus’ name!

42. I declare over every monitoring network against my progress: devise your strategy but it will be thwarted! Propose your plan but it will not stand for God is with me according to Isaiah 8:10! Let every plan they have devised from their surveillance of my life fail at the point of execution. Let every strategy collapse before it reaches me, in Jesus’ name!

43. I destroy every satanic communication network that links monitoring spirits assigned to different areas of my life! Every demonic information-sharing system that coordinates surveillance between the spirit watching my finances and the spirit watching my relationships and the spirit watching my ministry, I cut every such communication line by fire, in Jesus’ name!

44. Father, send confusion into every satanic monitoring network operating against me the way You sent confusion into the camp of Israel’s enemies! Let the agents in the network begin to work against each other. Let their coordinated intelligence become corrupted. Let their perfect plans fall apart from the inside, in Jesus’ name!

45. I expose every hidden snare that the monitoring network has been setting in my path according to Psalm 64:5! They said who will see it? God sees it! Let every hidden trap in my path be exposed by the all-seeing eye of God. Let every snare be dismantled before my feet reach it. And let every ambush prepared for me be turned against those who set it, in Jesus’ name!

46. I pray against every satanic monitoring network that has been studying my progress in order to time their attacks for my most vulnerable moments! Let the timing intelligence they have gathered be disrupted. Let their window of attack be closed before they can use it. Let my most vulnerable moments become moments of divine protection that confound the enemy’s surveillance, in Jesus’ name!

47. I destroy every witchcraft coven, every occult network and every dark spiritual community that has set itself against my life as a monitoring and attack operation! Let the fire of God fall on every gathering of the wicked that has been organised around the purpose of watching and destroying my destiny, in Jesus’ name!

48. Father, turn the intelligence gathered by the monitoring network against my life into intelligence that serves my advancement! Just as You used the monitoring of Joseph’s brothers to position him for the palace, let the enemy’s surveillance of my life become the setup for my most dramatic divine promotion, in Jesus’ name!

49. I cancel every evil agreement between monitoring spirits and human agents in my environment! Every covenant between the spiritual and natural dimensions of the surveillance operation against my life, I break every such covenant by the blood of Jesus and I separate every human agent from the demonic intelligence network today, in Jesus’ name!

50. I declare: the satanic monitoring network against my life is dismantled! The conspiracy is scattered. The coordinated plan is thwarted. The perfect scheme is exposed. And every agent in the network, whether spiritual or natural, is cut off from their source of intelligence and rendered ineffective against me from September 2026 forward. In Jesus’ name!

Prayer Points 51 to 60: Severing Every Human Connection to the Monitoring Operation

51. I cut off every human agent that is knowingly or unknowingly serving as a conduit of intelligence against my life! Every person through whom my private plans, my vulnerabilities and my movements are being communicated to the kingdom of darkness, I cut the spiritual connection between that person and the monitoring operation against me by the blood of Jesus today, in Jesus’ name!

52. I pray against every gossiping tongue that has been serving the monitoring spirit against my life! Every person who takes my private information and spreads it to the wrong people, every carrier of tale who becomes a source of intelligence for the enemy’s attacks against me, let the grace of God either transform them or remove them from my inner circle, in Jesus’ name!

53. Father, give me divine discernment to identify every human agent of the monitoring operation against my life! Let the Holy Spirit show me clearly who is genuinely for me and who is consciously or unconsciously serving the enemy’s surveillance agenda against my destiny. Give me wisdom without paranoia and discernment without bitterness, in Jesus’ name!

54. I cancel every evil report about my life that has been filed by human agents in my environment! Every person who has been gathering intelligence on my private life, my financial situation, my family dynamics and my spiritual condition to share with my enemies, let their reports be corrupted and their intelligence be rendered unusable against me, in Jesus’ name!

55. I pray against every spy within my trusted circle! Every person who gained my confidence for the purpose of intelligence gathering, every relationship that was strategically initiated by the enemy to create a surveillance position close to my life, I expose every such relationship by the fire of the Holy Ghost and I sever every spiritual tie that connects that person to the monitoring operation against me, in Jesus’ name!

56. Father, let the mouth of every human agent of the monitoring spirit against my life be sealed! Let what they have gathered remain locked in their possession and unable to reach the enemy’s higher command. Let the intelligence pipeline between my environment and the kingdom of darkness be permanently blocked, in Jesus’ name!

57. I pray for every person in my life who has been used by the enemy as a monitoring agent without their full awareness! Father, save them, deliver them and sever their connection to the demonic surveillance network that has been using their proximity to my life as an intelligence asset against me. Let their eyes be opened to what they have been participating in, in Jesus’ name!

58. I cancel every evil covenant that links a human agent in my environment to a monitoring spirit assigned to my life! Every agreement, whether spoken or unspoken, whether made with full knowledge or under demonic manipulation, that connects a person near me to the spiritual surveillance operation against my destiny, I break every such covenant by the blood of Jesus today, in Jesus’ name!

59. Father, let divine wisdom govern every relationship and every conversation in my life from September 2026 forward! Let me be as wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove (Matthew 10:16). Let me know what to share and what to hold, what to reveal and what to guard and who to trust and who to keep at a distance, without becoming cold, suspicious or isolated, in Jesus’ name!

60. I declare: every human agent of the monitoring spirit against my life has been cut off from the intelligence operation against me! Their access to my private life is revoked. Their reports are cancelled. Their spiritual connection to the monitoring network is severed. And God is surrounding me with relationships of genuine loyalty, authentic love and Kingdom alignment from this September 2026 forward. In Jesus’ name!

Prayer Points 61 to 70: Sealing Every Dimension of Your Life Against Monitoring

61. I enforce the seal of the Holy Spirit over my life right now according to Ephesians 1:13! Let the seal of God’s ownership be clearly visible in the spirit realm over every dimension of my life. Let every monitoring spirit that approaches my life read the seal and be turned back. I am God’s possession and His seal is my protection, in Jesus’ name!

62. I seal my prayer life against every monitoring spirit! From September 2026, no monitoring spirit has access to observe my prayer sessions, to report what I am praying for or to use my prayer life as intelligence against me. The inner chamber of my communion with God is sealed by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name!

63. I seal my family against every monitoring spirit! My spouse, my children, my parents and every member of my household are sealed with the seal of God’s ownership. No monitoring spirit has access to observe, track or use my family as intelligence against my destiny. We are all sealed by the same Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name!

64. I seal my finances against every monitoring spirit! My income, my savings, my investments and every financial transaction I make are sealed against demonic surveillance. No monitoring spirit can track my financial progress and report it to the spirits of poverty, witchcraft or financial destruction that would target my increase, in Jesus’ name!

65. I seal my destiny and my assignment against every monitoring spirit! The prophetic plans God has placed over my life, the calling He has written for me before I was born and the specific assignment He has given me for this season are sealed against demonic intelligence. The enemy cannot use surveillance of my destiny to organise pre-emptive opposition against it, in Jesus’ name!

66. I seal my sleep against every monitoring spirit! From tonight, my dreams are sealed by the blood of Jesus. No monitoring spirit has access to my dream life to gather intelligence, plant fear or project evil scenarios over my future. My sleep is sealed and my dreams are governed by the Holy Spirit, in Jesus’ name!

67. Father, contend with every monitoring spirit that has been contending with my life according to Isaiah 49:25! I will not fight every surveillance battle in my own strength. You fight on my behalf. You contend with those who contend with me. You save my children. You retrieve what the fierce surveillance operation has stolen. You are my Contender, in Jesus’ name!

68. I seal every divine connection in my life against the monitoring spirit! Every relationship ordained by God for my advancement, every covenant partnership in Kingdom business, every prophetic connection assigned to my next level, I seal them all against demonic surveillance and interference. What God has joined, the monitoring spirit cannot divide, in Jesus’ name!

69. I dwell in the shelter of the Most High and I rest in the shadow of the Almighty according to Psalm 91:1! In that shelter, no monitoring spirit can reach me. The shadow of God’s presence is my covering. And what is covered by the shadow of the Almighty is invisible to the surveillance of the enemy, in Jesus’ name!

70. I seal Day 1 of the Mercy Again September 2026 Prayer Programme with the final declaration of a life completely sealed against every monitoring spirit: I am watched by heaven and kept by mercy! The eyes of the Lord are over my life. His ears are attentive to my cry. He sees every monitoring spirit and every hidden watcher. And He fights on my behalf. The monitoring spirit’s assignment against my life is officially cancelled, destroyed and sealed off from this September 2026 forward. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ. AMEN!
